Tremp, Texas

Texans flee coast as Hurricane Rita approaches

It's weird, the Tremp Programme has become affected by Hurricane Rita. Shell offices in Houston have been evacuated today. Refineries are shut down. We tried to make a Netmeeting connection with one of our Houston presenters for this evening - no response. Two more Houston colleagues are scheduled for tomorrow, I doubt that the sessions will go through. On top of that: two of our participants have family in the area. The families have left the city now, driving up north towards San Antonio. Relatives here are worried and may have to leave the course soon, depending on what's going to happen a couple of thousand miles away. Notwithstanding - course is going strangly well. Keep you posted ...
