Technology Investigation

Last week I met with Marco Hoppenbrouwer who is part of Shell's internal Technology Investigation group who focus on key IT trends, opportunities and potential disruptors within a 3 to 5-year time horizon.

Their current projects are eg: Podcasting, Second Life, Shell's Wikipedia. From their visits to external parties and conferences they keep an interesting repository of Event Reports (sww Livelink).
