Tremp Tramp

"A solar eclipse occured on Monday, 3 October, 2005, in Africa, the Indian Ocean and in Spain." (Reuters) - I was a bit up north at the beach in Barcelona and didn't know that 'it was coming'. What drama of mother nature! Has anyone ever seen it? Suddenly everything is drowned into a twilight. The sun still shines but the temperature drops very by - I would think - 10 degrees. And it's not over quick. Took about half an hour for the sun to completely reappear ... and back we went into the water! - So, yesterday still in the waves of Barcelona, today back in seat in Rijskwijk. See you all soon!

Hey Seb,

I did see it once back in 1999, still studying in Enschede. No full coverage of the sun, but still strange. It felt like something in between day and night or the end of the world...

Last summer in Marocco, in the dessert, in the middle of the night, full moon, very bright stars... gave the same feeling somehow... very strange
