Skype: More than 100 million users!
Two and half years ago Skype was a small company. Seven months ago E-Bay bought Skype for 2.6 Billion Dollar. Not a bad investment since in those 7 months total amount of users has doubled with currently more than 100 million users. What a great succes story!
Funny detail: Skype now has more users than AT&T has fixed landlines...

I think these figures are very distorted, see the skype journal. What ever the true figures .. it's still a lot. http://www.skypejournal.com/blog/archives/2005/08/50_million_---.php
