Fifths Day

Shell Voluntary Workers Fund: Shell attaches importance to supporting projects that are dedicated to innovation, technology, voluntary work and the nurturing of talent. The Fund enables Shell employees and pensioners to request a financial contribution, subject to certain conditions, for the association, institution, charity or other body in which they are actively involved on a voluntary basis. United Nations Volunteering (Shell-sponsored): Are you interested in becoming a volunteer? Would you like to do it from your home country and at a time of your choice? In that case, the Online Volunteering scheme could be a great possibility. Online Volunteering allows you to participate in projects run by non-governmental organisations (NGO's) in front of your own computer. - To find out more, and become one yourself, click here.

Shell Foundation: An independent grant-making charity -separated from Shell’s commercial interest - dedicated to helping people help themselves. Read this to get more context.

World Challenge: The World Challenge, established in 2005, is a competition aimed at finding individuals or groups from around the world who have shown enterprise and innovation at a grass roots level. World Challenge 2006, is run by BBC World and Newsweek, in association with Shell.
